"Alexanderplatz is the old heart of East Berlin and still one of the most visited places in Berlin. How do you capture this hustle and bustle, I asked myself and came up with the idea of combining the constantly rotating world clock with a passing tram in my picture. The world clock has always been a meeting place and people come, hug, take photos and move on after a few seconds. What remains is the rotation of the world clock and the passing trams before the next people meet again under the world clock. "
